@Adam - I don't know if this helps, but the range of dates produced had been slowly expanding as of a couple of hours ago, but it stalled out at some point since then.

@anaranjada - I think we need some sort of site consensus before we say "Here's what this tag means". I don't see any reason to assume that chronology and chronological order are anything more than synonyms.
My take is that we should avoid trying to disqualify or remove answers unless they are genuinely offensive or terrible. This is neither, in my opinion. When in doubt, leave it alone and let people express their feelings via voting.
